What the elements in our logo represent
The first symbol is a flame. This represents the power of the Holy Spirit to transform a person and help him or her find new life in Jesus. This is what we describe as “Believing.”
“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope”
(Romans 15:11, ESV)
The second symbol is a plant. This represents the amazing ability for life to flourish and develop. This is what we describe as “Growing.”
“But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.” (2 Peter 3:18a, ESV)I
The third symbol is a helping hand. This represents the call of God upon every follower of Jesus to do good whenever and were we can. This is what we describe as “Serving.”
“Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God.” (Hebrews 13:16, ESV)
The final symbol is of water. This represents that we are to share the life giving Water of Life, Jesus Christ! This is what we describe as “Sharing.”
“And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything it in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.” (Colossians 3:17a, ESV)
